Last year the roses were plentiful but then the deer started nibbling the bushes. This "Celebration" rose is one of the few that survived. I've been told that to keep out the deer, I must build a seven foot fence. And electrify it. I was of the opinion that the "porch dogs" would keep the deer away... nooo! The rescue dogs are afraid of deer or should I say that the deer are NOT afraid of the porch dogs no matter if they bark all night.

First Rose at Dogwood Pond
Last year the roses were plentiful but then the deer started nibbling the bushes. This "Celebration" rose is one of the few that survived.
